Now I (mr) am from the east end ,battered fish originated in the Jewish community and the batter was a protective coating ,the plethora of other tosh in a chip shop I never quite understood and some of it is quite frankly a cure for constipation ! Mrs is from past the Watford gap and deep fried mars bars and Sheffield fish cakes are unacceptable,her family own chippies and I’m a qualified chef lol the debate rages at home |

Haddock (cooked to order) my fish of choice, scampi, Pukka pies.... even a couple of plastic tables and chairs so you could dine in style before this Covid shit popped its head up. Fine dining at its best |
