"Why do my neighbours think it’s okay to call their cat in at 11pm, when I say call I mean shout, there’s at least three in my road who do this ?!"
Because their cat is more important than your sleep - to them. |

But then when it made them sick did they persevere?! "
They might have persuaded someone else to do it first. |

Birds do regulate temperature via their legs indeed. Could be preserving heat or conversely not gaining too much heat. |

"Why doesn't the sun cool down? What keeps it constantly hot? "
Because it's busy fusing hydrogen into helium which generates lots of heat. When it runs out of fuel in about 5.4 billion years, it will end up cooling down. |

That's what they reckon. It's trying to lose weight but it's taking a while. You definitely don't want to be around when it runs out of hydrogen. It will swell up to become a red giant and will fry the Earth to buggery. Then it will shrink and turn into a white dwarf. |

"Why doesn't the sun cool down? What keeps it constantly hot? "
It will eventually cool down when it can no longer perform nuclear fusion, nuclear fusion is the reason why its hot, the fusion is producing a astronomical amount of energy, through that energy you get heat. |

"What are those big lumps on my chocolate starfish and why do they hurt? "
They are just visual deterrents to other fish. Not many sea creatures will predate the chocolate chip star fish. Umm, not sure why they hurt, they're not poisonous, are you actively POKING it? |

"Why are there no baby pigeons ? Just adults "
You don't see any baby birds (water birds not withstanding) unless they fall out of a tree/Bush. By the time they're big enough to fly they no longer look like babies. |

I don't know but I'll guess . I wonder if it was either climate change or the gene that influenced body hair also influenced other features such as fertility, attractiveness, longevity etc and the more hairy body type simply faded out.

Thanks for the answer, I assumed it may have been climate changes, but I am not so sure. Something, or several contributing factors. If I'm being truthful, I posted the thread in jest, but then I actually started really thinking |

"Why did my dog piss up my bike this morning
To claim it
I wouldnt have minded if it weren't for the fact he was on his way out to the garden anyway.
Like he couldnt wait 10 more seconds "
Some of our dogs are like that, kitchen door open all day for them, girls squat at the door, boys cock their leg on the side next to back door. Think they do it on purpose to keep us on our toes |

Are you sure it was piss and not marking? It's in his territory so he must claim it.
I have two dogs - one male and female - and they both cock their legs to mark but not to actually piss.
It can be a bit weird to see a female dog squat then lift one leg - her whole body goes to the side. |

I thought it was so that we could hunt for longer in the heart of the sun.
Most hairy primates hide in the shelter of trees when it's hot, so wet had an advantage over them.
Also, I believe we needed to be cooler to allow our brains to work more efficiently and to grow. You know what it's like to think when hot. Imagine being covered in hair all the time too! |

Well that seems like a very plausible answer. Totally makes sense. I remembered something about our early humans brains getting bigger as to help with hunting, escaping dangers etc so guess it makes sense about hot conditions. Thanks for this answer kind sir. |

"Who picks up guide dog poop?"
Dogs go through a lot of training before they can become guide dogs.
Part of that is that they are actually trained to use a toilet rather than go on the floor!
Pretty unbelievable really! |
