Is it just me or does anyone else think it's weird?

I mean being asked by someone you've just started chatting to on here!

I keep this and my normal life very separate.

There and to the left a bit

Anyone asking me for my Facebook or Twitter would get very short shrift - I can think of two people on here that I'd willingly share my Facebook details with and both are people I have known for some time, interacted with a lot and trust implicitly

hiding from cock pics.

That's a little bit too stalkerish for me. That would be a red flag and definitely not something else I would hand out. That would give someone access to your friends and family.

Big big red flag. Too many stalker types here already don’t need that going on too. I find it bad enouhh FB everyone here seems to want your kik, your snap, your wozzywoowatsits , like I’m here aren’t I, what’s wrong with keeping it here ?

It's peculiar and would carry risks that are inappropriate for most people. If you don't know someone, they have not earned trust etc.

Possibly harmless but not worth the risk.

No social media Privately and I have what’s app simply as I have 3 different phones. One is purely a burner/play phone for fab that I throw in the draw when I don’t need it.

What’s app is purely for cam to cam veri if someone can’t use the site. Outside of that it sits switched off .

Just block and move on and don’t give it a second thought.

Likely to be a scammer or weirdo, from Facebook it's easy to find workplaces, friends, where you go etc etc sometimes phone numbers are linked to it.

Block and move on

Totally weird. Facebook is full of my family and real life friends. Not a chance would I have any connections with a fab member on my private fb account. Very weird to even ask someone.

We’re Facebook friends with only one couple from here and that’s after a couple of years of regularly seeing them as close friends.

Expecting a random newbie to respect the boundary between here and real life is a big ask and we certainly wouldn’t trust people who just ask out of the blue.

Just a quick tech question on this thread. My partner is worried that (you know how spooky/psychic facebook and instagram can be at times)That on a potential meet, a social media app, might recommend this person as a 'friend' as the software knows you have been in close proximity to them. This is something she is keen to avoid. Have any of you had any experience of this happening? Thanks!

Personally, the two sites should be kept separate.

Facebook is your friends, family and life outside of Fab.

Hell no run a mile no need for anyone on fab to have ur Facebook and as for phone numbers well I don’t mind as I keep my contact personal number to my self and just buy a cheap throw away phone with a pay and go SIM card easy to just snap sim and get a new one

There are a few people on here who I am FB friends with, known them for the best part of 10yrs and trust them.

Anyone else who asks a 2nd time after being told no, gets blocked. FB is for friends and family, people I meet for NSA sex don't fall into that category, nowhere near.

I've deactivated Facebook, but on there I have four trusted fabsters as friends.

A few years ago when my actual phone number was attached to my Facebook, someone who I gave my number to kept messaging me on WhatsApp, when I blocked him on there he sent me a friend request on Facebook. He got blocked on there too. Definitely not so free with my number nowadays!

I would not allow Fab friends to become facebook friends although nobody has ever asked. However i had a fab friend who turned out to be the nephew of one of my old work colleagues and we both had her on facebook. All came to light when she posted his graduation video. Luckily i could trust him as he could me but i do everything to keep my home life and family life private.
