That guy has lived a life and a half...if he could only remember it!

He so straight now a days and unfazed.

He recorded one album in 12 hours..hours!

A guitarist in a band he sang with (unsure if it was his band) had 2 missing fingertips that he lost working in a factory. He had to have them taped to play the guitar...that is what you call rock n roll

Any fans amongst us?

I’ve been a big Sabbath fan since the mid 70s. Tony Iommi was the guitarist with the missing finger tips. He made prosthetic fingertips from Fairy Liquid bottle tops so he could continue to play guitar

It is good! The nuggets of gold Ozzy comes out with, makes me smile.

And the insight he drops into his antics of yesteryear

Ozzy is definitely a modern miracle. His autobiography is brilliant. The story of the vicar is my favourite. Naughty Oz!

I do too...families have ups and downs but in the end if you're lucky, you still have each other.

Seen them live...his autobiography is a hoot..worth a read if you want a laugh. How he survived I ll never know lol. Tony Iommi went onto a new style of music with his wife/ partner..candys knight..very medieval style music. Hell of a musician.

I think you're getting him confused with Ritchie Blackmore who is the one doing medieval music

He couldn’t, but it was how he developed such a distinctive sound when he played power chords.

After he was sacked from Sabbath for always being off his head Sharron got him to eventually start touring solo.

On his "Blizzard of Oz" tour in America they played a gig in Texas and Sharron sick of him going out and getting d*unk hid all his clothes in their hotel room.

She popped out and he needing a drink decided to put one of her dresses on and left for a tour of the local bars.

Hours later and staggering back to the hotel he took a piss up the sacred Alamo monument and got arrested.

He was banned from the state for years lol.

I got his autograph, Tony and Geezer's on their last ever gig in Australia.

When I told him I was from Dudley he said...

"Ye,ye,ye,ye, will ye do me a favour and wish Noddy a Merry fuckin' Christmas and tell him to shut the fuck up... I'm fucking sick of it every fucking year man i,i,i,i,its gettin' beyond a fucking joke..."

Its difficult seeing our idols getting old .

In my head the likes of coverdale ,ozzy and Lemmy are the same as they were in the 80,s.

I cried when Lemmy died . I know i will when Ozzy and Coverdale go too.

Lemmy dying was so sad (Bowie was too) One of my friends broke his heart when Lemmy died as he was his hero and his influence to joining a band. At least he got to meet him a few time’s though so he has amazing memories.

Coverdale was awesome at Download, but so weird hearing such a posh voice say “fuck me!” Haha xx

Not quite sure on coverdales speaking voice , Lemmy reckoned it was like widow twankie. Its a transatlantic mix these days. Not at all like a saltburn lad.
