After 106 days of lockdown, juggling 40hour plus weeks, minimal childcare availability and services under greater pressure than before. Anyone else just "done with it all and stressed out"?

Damn it thought I'd clicked on the virus topic, apologies

In my defence I've taken my glasses off.

Let's just say the upcoming long weekend will be very welcome.

I'm not stressed but it has been incredibly hard work.

Our particular service has been under immense pressure, I'm counting down the days to annual leave!!

In fairness im starting to really feel it, and the end isn't in sight. Its killed my motor and I feel rather mechanical in all I do these days.

I'm sorry you are all also feeling the same.

I also agree there doesn't seem to be an end in sight for us at the moment.

I think I've just had an exceptionally long day today with my shift extended by 4hours unexpectedly due to events and it's just extra stress I could do without.

I hate those days - walk into work & just know the staffing is so dire you ain't going to be walking out on time. Then getting home & just sleeping. All work & no play

I am not a key worker but just wanted to say to all of you that you will he remembered for this time.

I for one appreciate all that you have done to try and make the world normal for the rest of us

Yes. I am exhausted both physically but more mentally. The constant juggling of shifts and late changes and childcare, the cancelled rest days, the thankless days all role into one. Just treading water at present.
