Steve Wright Sunday Love Songs.
I love this program, I think Steve Wright is great doing it, I usually stay in day till 11am on a sunday listening to the show (and typeing on here if i dont have company).
But..........................I sodding hate it when LuLu sticks her beak in.
I can't stand the women, whingey winey nasely voice.
If I could find the words I would rant more, but I'll just go and beat up a pillow instead |

The show was ok, but it's a bit long in the tooth now. The music is so predictable.
Lost loves is sick - I can imagine it causing all manner of trouble for people - what gives anyone the right to search out ex lovers from 30 years ago on public radio ?
Wrighty is great, loved him since his Radio one days with Steve Wright in the afternoon and all the characters; Mr Angry, Sid the Manager, Jervais the Hairdresser, Mr Mad, The professor ..........
There is a web site called Radio Rewind you can hear all the old clips of Steve Wright, and 100's of other long forgotton DJ's .... |

Lulu is bad, but I'll tell you who is was worse when they filled in for Steve Wright during the week .....
The 2 dimwits, Ratcliffe and Marconi .... they were naff |

unless you were listening to a different show to me it was Ratcliffe and Emma Forbes.
it would have been a lot better if it was Ratcliffe and Maconi. |

It was sometime last year the show that I'm thinking of, in fact it wasn't even Ratcliffe and Marconi, it was just Ratcliffe on his own, stuttering and stammering his way through the show.
Then they had Divina McColl (Spelling?) filling in for Ken Bruce, now that was Grade 1 naffness .. |

You're not on your own hunni, I heard her singing re light my fire yesterday and cringed. The only song she sang that was ever any good was "To Sir With Love" and I think I only like it so much cos of the film its from.
