"Not sure I'd officially class myself as an artist but I paint a bit. Usually acrylics & mostly landscapes. "
Great to hear, excuse the pun but it seems to be a dying art! Who is your favorite artist, alive or dead? |

"I wouldn't call myself an artist per say, but I do paint miniatures for various different games (I may or may not be a bit of a nerd)"
I used to paint them too, and lots of airfix models. Love the smell of the enamel paint! If your a nerd then so am I... Embrace it! |

"I love art and photography, very jealous of you creative types, love abstract stuff like Dali and Klimt also graphics / pop art.
"
Absolutely love Dali, he was off his trolley but he was a master of the surreal. Have never saw his work in person but hope someday to visit his gallery. Love photography too and I do most of my paintings from them. |

"I can't post my work on here but feel free to google Mark Lee McMeekin,
Any Amy Winehouse ?"
I haven't need asked to draw her yet but I know she would make for a great piece as she was very beautiful and had such a style of her own. Rip x |

"Oils when i paint but do a lot more digitally now, Pencils, and Tattooing."
Have always wanted to get into the tattoos but I know how hard it is and to do well. I have the steady hand for it but I would find it hard working on a moving canvas. |

Just seen your work OP, amazing
I don’t class myself as an artist, I’m a sketcher on a learning curve with people and bodies. Picked up the pencil for the first time in 10 years last August. Before that it was doodling, sketching landscapes or fun drawing for the lad |

"Was a printmaker (etching), lately murals.
My camera is my main weapon of choice these days. "
I spent lots of years doing huge murals on bedroom walls night clubs and outside spaces. Just love working on huge scale! Cameras have come on leaps and bounds since I was in art college doing my own in the dark room. So happy to hear people still use them for landscapes and not just selfies lol |

"I dabble when the mood takes me, paint with acrylics.
Awesome man.... Nothing better than escaping from the world and creating your own!
I mainly do portraits and nudes."
Loved doing nudes at college, very hard to find someone willing to do it in real life but. Portrait work is my bread and butter but nothing beats getting a new seven foot canvas and going to town on it. |

There are so many distractions these days so I can understand it's hard to put more time into it. I can spend the whole night painting and not even sleep as I just can't wait to see it finished. I guess it's different when it's your job and people are waiting for thier work as then it has to be done. |

Great to hear man.... And good shout out to get a bit of work. Do you have any of your work online or in galleries I can look at? |

Spurschick and I have vastly different styles, each with their signature look "
There is a new sheriff in town ....I'm kidding, that's great to hear that there are already artists on here sharing their skills. |

As someone who can’t draw to save her life, I think your work is superb and the YouTube vids strangely relaxing... |

Noooo I am completely amateur. I do different things, some abstract stuff, some cartoons, some classic stuff in charcoal, etc. but essentially it's just for me and for fun. It's a pity you can't have a gallery here for the sexy stuff! |

"Not an artist, just a wee hobby. I do portraits in charcoal.
That's what all my portraits are done with, just chalk and charcoal on A1 black pastel paper. Have you ever tried that before? "
No, I do them on white A3. |

"That's extraordinary OP.
I can't draw for toffee, but I definitely appreciate your talent. I'm creative in other ways."
How sweet of you to take your time out to look and for your lovely words. I just got lucky I guess but it has also took me thousands of hours work to get to this stage. I can imagine you have quite a few talents yourself |

I used to too but once I started using black paper and bring out the whites with chalk the black tones are so much deeper. Next time you are at the art store see if they have black pastel art pads at a3 size and give it a go. You will be very surprised how well it works |

Oh of course. Talents are honed not bestowed upon us.
My artistic talent is my writing, although I have a few skills otherwise. |
