Just wondered as I keep seeing ppl talking about being ignored, left out, shat on, gossiped about, leaving etc....?

What actually holds you here if that's the case? Is it just hope that one day everyone will realise the TRUE you and love and praise you for it....? I'm not trying to be arsey at all I promise. Just wondering if this is all just hot air or if ppl are actually here as some gruesome form of self harm of something....? Or is it just lockdown fever peaking through....?

Personally, I'm not always there, I come and go, but I feel like this is my natural habitat when I AM here. I don't need acceptance or quoting, it's my place to learn about folk, talk shit, giggle and express myself....

Yes I feel like I belong and have no problems on the forums.

There are fabbers I like and there are fabbers that I don’t bother reading but that’s just any forum really.

I post if I feel like it and I’m not needy so I just enjoy other people’s quirks.

I guess some people are more out spoken than others.

Some wait for a reaction and when they dont get it they think there is something wrong with them or what they have said or done.

I guess some people are more sensitive than others too.

People are too quick to judge also...

Personally I say my peice and move on whether people agree or not.

Sometimes. I like making people smile and I enjoy flirting. When I'm having a shitty time this side of the screen fab can either make it a little bit easier with escapism or make it worse because things just are generally rubbish.

Indeed, I'd say I'm a bit too much on here occasionally, a bit too loud, but it doesn't mean ppl listen! Most of my comments and most of ALL ppls comments are overlooked if only for the reason that most successful threads just ask for opinions rather than debating them. Not fussed about that in the slightest.....

Depends how you mean? The forums aren't really representative of the site because most users dont use them. We have only been on them more due to lockdown. We get plenty of meets and lots of invites to parties etc and we're filthy sods so I guess we belong on the site.

I choose to be here and there is no reason I shouldn't be, therefore I belong. The forums are mostly a form of procrastination for me in between working long hours. I'm glad that through them I have met some wonderful people online and in real life. The amount of interaction I get varies depending on who is about and probably how interesting I am or am not. Sometimes I find little on here that interests me. It's the way of life.

Sometimes I think people can get too emotionally invested in this place. Sometimes I think people look for negativity where it doesn't exist. Sometimes I think people give too much attention to negative energy. Sometimes I wonder why people care so much about what others do or how they use fab. But hey, humans are complex creatures and we're all different. I don't even understand myself 100% of the time so it's silly to expect to totally understand everyone else.

I stay because i have found it helps my headspace to talk to strangers off of the internet.

I also enjoy having somewhere to be creative with pictures and to post my random musings.

I love to bounce off people who get my sense of humour and have similar things in common.

Although it’s great when people reply and appreciate my posts it’s not always the be all and end all for me.

Some of the friendships I’ve made here have really helped me through some tough times and I know I’ve been helpful in the same way to others.

That’s why I stay.

I honestly reckon most of the "clique" are just ppl who've been around long enough to not to give a fuck. I am if I post a thread that recieves a lot of comments. I'm not when I'm happily outspoken about my controversial kinks or defend others for theirs and get a lot of flack for going against the grain of popular opinion. Every time I see any definition of who is and who isn't I feel like I fit in both categories. I'm not saying I agonise over it. Just an amusing observation. I think the reality is everyone who talks about it has a different idea of what they mean. I also think people have a tendancy to generalise and oversimplify the social relationships within any group which are on the whole rather complex because... Humans!

I don't feel like I belong here but I do enjoy the forums and my overall experience has been good.

I've made some little connections with people and that's through effort and letting people get to know me. I see lots of people complaining of cliques but I've never felt pushed out by anyone. I was new here once and nobody would really respond to me for the first few months but it didn't seem unwelcoming or cliquey, more just small circles of different friendship groups but now it's easier to chat to regulars as you know them more.

I've spoke to some wonderful people and eventually would like to go to a social and meet a few people. I can't complain about Fab at all.

I think its a very valid question, but Fab is kind of split into many areas for me.

The people I make contact with, friends, and then the forums.

I think most people see the forums as the time wasting entertainment side of Fab? And let's be honest if we're here then we've run out of productive things to do

so do I feel I belong here? I guess I feel I dont belong anywhere, but I'm happy to pass through anywhere and see whats about?

I'm going through one of those time to leave phases, but invariably something will hook me and ill still be here next month. Does that mean I belong?

I've actually had more meets off the forum than through any other method like messaging randomly.... .... depends on how you tackle fab I guess

Stick with it though, just hide when you're not feeling fab....
