Tonight i tried to be a bit more refined, and not start at the usual 9pm (wine o'clock). Ok thats bull shit - i was sucked into watching the telly and ended up watching x-factor only to realise that they werent booting off the loosers till tomorrow.
So - an hour and ten mins ago i left the house to pop off to the local shop. Gets to shop and the street is shut off by police cars and the shop is cordoned off with Crime Scene tape 
Cant even get to cash point to drqw out the cash. Ok, i decide as turning back out the street - i will go to local supermarket. Only to pull up there and see them locking the doors - shit - its Sat and they close at 10pm  its now 10-02pm.
Ok ok - i will drive thru and stop off at a bank and go to and offy - well drove around a good time till i ended back up near home before i found a cash point - and FOOK me - i live where there are NO offy's at all!!!
Ok, i am out and about now, i may aswell just drive to the local Co-op - ALSO SHUT!!!! I KNOW THERE IS A ROW OF SHOPS down the road here that WILL have an offy, so drove along heard a big clonk and scrape. Stopped the car and got out - couldnt see anything.
Found offy YAY YAY YAY (now enjoying a cold Grolshe)
BUT - o coming out the shop, and looking at rear end of my car - i realise its missing an exhaust - peek under car to see that the whole back box is gone
Drove back the way i had come - found said box (they are quite heavy really arent they) and put it in boot.
Continued my journey home to then get stuck behind a GARNDPA DRIVING AT 2 miles AN HOUR!!!!!
ROAD RAGE - oooooooooooooooh no.
I am gonna spank it out on HPC's ass cos she withheld information and i couldda gone to shop earlier and avoided all this.....lol |

I dont blame you really!!!!
But i am in shock - AND i missed the film, tho it doesnt look that good after all (catching the end of it).
I am glad it fell off now rather than in Monday morning traffic on the A52 or else i wouldnt have been able to go back for it.
Boys......whats the danger of driving about with no back box until i can get it fixed???
Apart from the noise.....SUUUUUPER CAR!!!! |

I want to know that too......lots of police cars there and all the staff out the shop all stood outside.....???????
Robbery???? Goodness knows - i will ask my neighbours tomorrow -they are old biddies and know everything - am sure they will gossip about it at church in the morning.....lol |

you will be fine using it as it is if you can handle sounding like a boy racer debz
my m8s lass had the same problem few weeks back, called me, i strung it up with wire to get to the garage but it had came loose at the joint, u might be lucky & if so its a 5min job to fix |

A mate had already fiddled with me back box
As it was sounding like a boy racer car already, and had corroded at the joint.
Maybe get him to string it up for me again then til i can get it sorted.
Am glad it wont cause any lasting damage to the car tho - as do use it to get to work...ta |

I was not impressed at the time - but even as i was typing it out on here i started to laugh!!!
There were a load of kids hanging about near the shops when the back box fell off - am just glad they didnt knick it and run off with it.....lol
((and even better - they HAD gone by the time i got back there when i realised it was missing....lol)) |

That street wasn't genuinely cordoned off... they were filming an episode of X-Files: looking into the disappearance of off-licences. A call had gone out that they were being sucked into a loud black hole when in fact they were being hunted down by a noisy back box.
If you ever need your back box looking at again deb just let me know and I'm sure I'll be able to massage it into purring like a kitten.

not seen the neighbours today, maybe they got kidnapped by the aliens that had the street closed off.
Actually come to think of it i didnt even hear them taking the car out the garage this morning (thats usually an ordeal that i can hear from bed that always has me laughing)........
