Definitely a metal head
Don’t have the long hair and prefer the more extreme sub genres of metal over the typical black sabbath, iron maiden metal bands etc |

I’m def tattooed and people often call me a rock chick. As much as I was brought up on Led Zep and cream and Deep Purple, I’m a house DJ now so I took a bit of a dance turn.
I have, however met several rock bands like Fear Factory and Deftones through my music work years ago. |

 was kinda surprised at first but in recent years I've seen a few EDM and electronica fans with solid metal backgrounds, don't know why.
My only "rock chick" identifier is boots, boots, and more boots. Too old to rock'n'roll, getting old enough to die   |

Drum n bass in particular shares some of the similar structures as rock and metal. A lot of producers have rock backgrounds or influences such as Chase and Status or Pendulum. Whilst rock and metal has declined, electronic music is on an upwards trajectory so many followers have straddled the two genres or simply hopped onto the EDM bandwagon. A few of my mates were into rock but now are firmly in the EDM camp. You have the likes of Korn switching genres as well as Bring Me the Horizon etc going entirely electronic so rock is now pretty niche compared to electronic music. Sadly I'll say. |

Not sure where I fit in.i like rock music and going to see these bands..also got tattoos but don’t have the long hair anymore.....that’s only because I can’t anymore lol |

Nothing wrong with not having tattoos or short hair...some of the most amazing rockers you could meet have neither Tatt's or long hair ..but their love of the music is unmatched. |

Glad to see other rockers on here that like me don’t have long hair or tats.
I do have pedigree as I’ve been to loads of motorcycle rallies (biker ticked) and attended Donnington rock festival in my youth.
My favourite band is Thin Lizzy and seen some great rock acts over the years.
I may not look like a rocker, but underneath in my heart I’m a rocker through and through  |

Korn Slipknot breaking benjamin disturbed 3 days grace hubby and I seen alot last year. Then this virus hit no more but alot of drive ins are having local concerts you have to stay in your car during the performance it's kind of cool. |

I was lucky to experience the resurgance in heavy music around 79-80. It really was a magical time as without social media and much news, the bands around had a sort of mystery about them. AC/DC...who are those guys who sell out massive arena gigs in the States (Back in Black tour). Ozzy who is he and where did he come from...is he even human? Black Sabbath no way are they from this dimension? I really did think they were not of this Earth! |
