Any watch lovers on here? If so, what have you got?

My pride and joy is a 50th anniversary Apollo 11 Speedy.

It's something I've never personally seen the appeal of, but then I like cars that go quick. At least with a watch it's not a depreciating asset that costs a fortune to run though!

I have a Radley one I need to get fixed. Other than that I rarely wear a watch as the faces are too big normally; plus to make them fit usually have to remove 4-5 links

If you want good quality for the price look into the Japanese brands, seiko, orient, citizen. They’re much better quality than fashion brand watches.

If you want to go second hand, Hamilton is a great Swiss brand that uses good movements

I second orient and seiko.

Orient make some fantastic looking watches.

Seiko Watch/Watch 5 are decent for the money if you only to spend a few hundred

X wife took my tag about sixteen years ago would have been worth a few quid now.

Currently have a cheapish Boss watch which I love, battery has died but a nightmare in lock down trying to get it replaced and feel naked when I don't wear it for work. so don't expect me to tell you the time if you ask...

Any brand can have issues, I’ve had trouble with a couple of well respected Swiss brands. Overall citizen produce some great pieces and their eco drive is excellent.

Japan produces some of the finest watches in the world that can easily out class their Swiss rivals. Grand seiko or credor are unbelievable in the quality of their finishing.

I still have a soft spot for Swatch as they have produced some incredible, and relatively inexpensive, designs.

Not so the Swatch Diaphane One that I came across on one of my early trips to Las Vegas. Looking at a well insinuation site, today, it appears to be appreciating nicely.
