well a 3 year old M3 covertible certainly has performance..........and i think most would find it comfortable.......and would set you back around 25k......so i disagree about you cant have both......an Audi S-line??? so what do you consider to be a performance car....and what is comfort....and heaven forbid what is considered both in East Anglia??? |

unfortunately I am restricted to a new car (new company vehicle) have looked at BMW 3's today but can't get the spec I would like for 25k - already have a fast Audi (see yesterdays thread), looked at the lexus, comfort but no real performance, so in a bit of a quandry |

"Alfa Brera S 3.2 ?
at a list price of over £30k its out of the range - and have alfa's improved their customer service?"
If U haggle U will get one for £25 K(iro), and part of the character of Alfa's are the dealer network !!! some are OK ( if its new and a company car then the warranty should cover pretty much everything). |

maybe get £5k off as they don't exactly have the best reputation and to be honest not as fast as the fast car we already have - good try though made me go and check it out, thanks |

UR car was probably over £40K, so anything is gonna be slower, if I was U id probably go luxury as U already have fast, Something like an IS 250 SE ( with map and upgrade ice) U should get one of those under £25k, |

nope our fast car wasn't over 40K lol
looked at the IS250 today but they aren't fast at all, got the brochure here in front of me top speed 143 0-62 8.1 secs to get the spec I want with satnav etc would cost (with discount) abt £28k |

all joking aside why dont you take your 25k budget and add to it....either that or lower your aspirations. personally i cant fathom out why they build "slow" cars with a top speed of 143mph when the speed limit is 70!!! i for one would have had less fines and penalty points on my licence over the last 10 years...lol |

I know exactly where you are coming from and the more reviews I look at I think I will probably take the 'comfort' option and leave the fast driving to weekends in the car we already have. |

ok research time over now to go and do some road tests of my own.
Narrowed it down to either a BMW, Lexus or Audi but for comfort rather than performance as we already have the performance car - that the sensible side of me coming out, ok its K's influence again reminding me the number of miles I will be driving |
