There have been quite a few series of this all over the world.

we've watched the UK series a couple of times. I don't think they've ever worked out. European men and women don't have the cultural background for arranged marriages, I don't know why anybody imagines they would ever be successful. We rely romantic love as a basis for marriage and if the people involved don't feel it immediately they don't want to carry on.
