Just reading about the couple in walsall that have been shot and died. They think it was some kind of domestic. But more and more we see people being killed over trivial things, do we really value peoples lives so lightly that some will kill over the slightest of things.
Im not talking about serial killers here but "joe blogs" killing people |

It is so sad when seeing things like this happening more and more frequently.
Frightening how some 'everday normal folk' would know where to get a gun and how to use one.

"Don't think many murders by joe blogg are premeditated - and few go out with that intent but things get out of hand "
But they must have something in their minds, guns dont just appear in your hand, you have to actively sort out where and how to get one. |

Thats exactly it..its mentality!...With the stresses, expectations, demands of life, people do become frustrated, have no-where seemingly able to turn and vent their anger once the tolerance threshold is reached. We can no more get inside the mind of murderers anymore we can paedophiles, burglars or any other type of criminal mind.
Now, back to the sex on the internet thing...Its true, honestly!...We were shocked at the readily available source of people who wish to meet us for coital shennanigans. We just dont understand how these peoples minds work, what would make them do such things? |

"I understand anger and red mist, ive been in cbt for ten years to overcome it but ive never wanted to shoot anyone dead" Exactly - makes me wonder what triggers this in people and if we could identify it, whether it would make some crimes preventable?

yes they do....and to be quite honest, if anyone killed/maimed a member of my family, I would be the first to retaliate with the 'an eye for an eye' mentality, as would a lot of others. Its the mindset to stop yourself taking this course of action that prevents a bloodbath society. Guns nowadays are readily available to buy unfortunately. A 5 minute internet search can get you one delivered within an hour!...It is appallling! |

Suz's grand mother made a very valid point many years ago. She said' When I was in my teens and lived in a village, you heard about murders that happened in your own village or the ones next to yours. Now if someone is killed in say Glasgow, then people in Suffolk hear about it.' does that mean that there are more murders? or that we hear about all of them now?
Also if someone wants to kill someone, then they will use what ever they can to hand. If you want to save the most number of people then ban cars! They kill more per year.
The information highway make the world a smaller place.

"You can't put a value on any life Diamond.
But as I like quizzes I will guess around £1,000 depending on the person?
Depending on the circumstances, it can be anything up to £550 000."
That's too rich for me I will take a half life. |

I watched a really interesting documentary once on pschycopathic people, tests done on 'complete bastards' showed that they actually have physical differences in the frontal lobe, they can't help it.
I have a 'friend' who finds it impossible to empathise... it's an odd friendship, cos over the years he has 'learned' the sort of things you're supposed to ask your friends about their wellbeing, but we often joke about it, cos honestly - he doesn't give a shit! lol! he's great company, bloody funny, extremely clever, but I sort of know he only wants ya around for as long as yer 'entertaining' ... he can't help it though and bizzarely, I really do like him....
he's terribly unreliable though |

The whole domestic thing where the husband kills the kids and/ or his wife and then himself scares the crap out of me. Seems like there's a story like that in the news every week. |

I know about 5 years ago a life was valued at around £1,100,000 for calculating losses due to fatal road accidents |
