I feel like i've been messed around and taken for a pleb.
Since i found out my daughter has been given availability of a place at nursery i've been inquiring for work at a certain place. The manager had a knee OP and has been off for 6 weeks and was told by the secretary to call back in a few weeks as they weren't sure if they would be taking on staff or not (i have friends from the last time i worked there that had told me they are practically run on agency)
I open up the local paper today to find an advert advertising for several posts.. am i being messed around and is this their way of saying 'we don't want you back?'
They also had my number to call me if the manager returned early.. i'm just confused. |

"maybe they want perminent staff this time not agency"
i would be permanent staff.. At the moment they employ a fair amount of agency staff to cover low staffing levels.

Ring them - they could have forgotten about your enquiry
If the manager is absent and the place is busy, there could be a good chance of that
Might be something and nothing
Pick up the phone and give them a friendly call |

"Dont they legally have to advertize any vacancies that come up"
when i just phoned up the secretary said she was just going to call me up to let me know they were advertising. So i'm feeling better about it. |
