I love Jude’s Gin & Tonic ice cream and plain vanilla with hot butterscotch sauce but I just want to give a shout out to my new discovery of Grom Gelato Crema di Grom!! Delish!
What ice cream do you recommend, brand and flavour?
Also, do you know a good rhubarb ice cream, I’m looking for one...? |

I'm not surprised! I once accidentally left half a tub out the freezer and I still refroze it and ate it because its so yummy. I was willing to put up with the not ideal texture  . |

Takeaway - lemon swirl with a fudge stick, or just full on lemon sorbet.
Tub - I love the salted caramel swirl one that B&J does or the cookie dough £1.99 Aldi version. Or mint choc chip from anywhere. |

I have made my own ice cream in days gone by. After much experimentation I found a fantastic Italian gelato recipe that's just the ticket. You can add whatever flavour you want. Since I have never come across rhubarb ice cream I'd be happy to make some. |

We have a local place in a little village called the Blyton, near Gainsborough... surprisingly named Blyton Ice cream
They do loads of great flavours but my favourite is strawberries and cream.
Not found anywhere better yet. |

I,m sure I saw it mentioned a while back the company makeing them were selective in what they made the type of companys where such Ice cream exists but at ridiculous prices I,d rather pay for a ben and jerrys Ice cream or a mr whippys or tonibells If they still exist but my Ice cream days are rare now. |

Snugburys ice cream! They have a drive through which is about a twenty minutes drive from me and sometimes they do a rhubarb ice cream which is so good. Right now I'm really loving their sloe and damson ice cream. So so good and creamy. |

Yeah I am! It's one of my favourite day outs around here, I love their sculptures so much, they are absolutely incredible and have such lovely meanings behind them. |

When we drive down south my dad always goes down the A roads through Cheshire to skip a lot of the M6. We go past on that route and seeing the sculptures as we drive past always makes the journey more fun!
I have a particular fond memory of a day out there with my dad, his ex and her kids. He split his trousers and had to change into some too small sports shorts he had in the boot . |
