When do people feel it will be ok to meet?

With the relaxing of guidelines we’ve seen the beaches packed, crowds who seemingly couldn’t go a minute longer without a maccies so with the knowledge that it can’t be policed everywhere when will people take the plunge?

When social distancing is relaxed because i don't know many people that can have sex 1 to 2 meters apart.

Social only at a social distance is possible through.

But they shouldn't be meeting.

Would you jump into a fire just because everyone else did?

Totally agree and this has been said a lot but the crowds when fast food chains opened and clothes shops was ridiculous

Firstly fast food restaurants are drive thru so not really relivent.

People going shopping are doing so because the shops are open and safety measures in place.

Meeting up with someone and having close contact could kill people.

Its really just a case of moral responsibility.

Are there any rules out there anymore? Looks like carnage to me. I'm sure there is shagging going on in between the fighting and drinking.

Local news reported 39 gatherings on Thursday in Manchester broken up by police..

Don't get me wrong, last night was wrong and reckless at the liver building but the same things to a lesser degree are going on all over sadly..

There are, but people are aware that what rules are left are incredibly hard to police, so are willing to take the chance

Agree it’s the gatherings more than the reasons for the gatherings that are wrong

Manchester (she/her)

I'll assess the effect of lockdown changes and go from there. Not anytime soon. Well behind when I'm allowed to.

I'm all for social distanced coffees but whose brewing up ?

So many variables and vagueness in gvmt 'guidelines', so little sense among some of the population.

I'm frontline retail, opted to do social distance rather than close and possibly lose my business. People regularly infringe on my 'space' and get politely reminded to back off. It is inevitable that you break the 2m guideline at some point. All you can do is minimise the risk to others when doing so.

I'm happy to do 2m socials, assess each situation on it's own merits and if I feel safe to be closer then that can happen should the other people involved appear to be just as self aware of what is going on. It's like doing a hundred+ risk assessments everyday

I’ll be meeting when I feel safe and confident enough to do so, everyone will be different I imagine, safe social meets will probably be order of the day for me though
