A personal choice for me during lockdown and I will continue after it's all over. I was never a big drinker, so an easy decision for me.
Any other members who are teetotal or have decided to give up a habit during lockdown.
Maybe you have added something new to your lifestyle ? |

I haven’t had any booze since early Feb. Never usually drink in the house so it hasn’t been a stretch so far and I’m not desperate to dive into a pub anytime soon, especially right after they’re allowed to open, it’ll be carnage. |

I rarely drink and my habits never changed throughout lockdown and kept to a routine, it kept me sane
Been back at work a month now and I think I would of struggled if I hadn't of had a routine during lockdown

I'm not tee total but I don't drink very much anyway and very rarely at home.
Occasionally I have a nice glass of red with dinner or a pink gin while watching the Telly but that's probably less than twice a month. |

I've always described myself as a social drinker, lockdown has changed that though. I order beer from my favourite pub, they started a delivery service a couple of months ago. So I'll have a stout and a couple of Belgium fruit beers tonight. I'll try and stay off the forum x |

I am teetotal and have been for quite some time. I go to (or used to) a lot of live gigs and drive sometimes so just got used to it. Also getting to the loo is a struggle amongst a crowd! Don't miss it at all. |

After many years I admitted I had a problem., now over 20 months sober. I don't touch alcohol at all. Hubby stopped for a year in support of me, now I feel comfortable enough for him to have a drink while I stick to my none alcoholic gin. I don't miss it at all. |

"I do this weird thing where I dont drink any alcohol for 3 weeks. Not a drop. Then I'll drink where and when I want for 3 weeks. Works for me! "
I used to meet someone from here that did that - do you work on a oil rig by any chance?

I hear you Lorna, people somehow think you need to have alchohol to have a good time and try to pressure you when you don't.

I quit drinking almost three years ago due to having a heart condition which causes me to have sudden cardiac arrests. Drinking was a possible trigger so it was a no-brainer really.
Do I miss it? Only every single day, but I don't miss the hangovers or dying so that's a couple of wins right there. |

I was between January and April. Now having wine occasionally. No more than two glasses. Mostly one.
Alcohol is a depressant to my mind so the short moment of joy usually results in a longer lasting low feeling. |
