You’re talking about two different scenarios - the first is the (female) escort and the second is the customer.

I'd question both those assertions. Women who escort are often shamed for their choice, and I've seen guys get a pat on the back for visiting a prostitute.
Generally though, a lot of people get twisted up over sex. It's society's moral madness. |

I don't entirely agree with your assessment. I think sex workers are often unfairly maligned and looked down on. It is becoming more socially acceptable but there is still a long way to go before people in general accept sex work as a legitimate profession.
The people who say sex work is a valid choice for a woman are usually (in our experience) the ones who also accept that paying for that type of service is also legitimate as long as everything is consensual and respectful. |

As far as I'm personally concerned as long as it's the person's choice (all genders escort) I don't have a problem with it but for the vast majority it isn't a choice"
To be fair I get offended by some of those types of messages too. Purely because if I'm expected to meet someone at the drop of a hat who I'm not attracted to, I wouldn't do it for free!
However that's not to say escorts aren't also picky. I know a few who are and rightly so! |

hhhmm yes I understand . Then ..hey theres very few of us who earn a living in the job that we choose. Who am I to judge how others choose to earn there living to pay the bills. Still feel the uk has a long way to go in addressing social accept abilities and equality. As long as theres no coershion or exploitation involved.
Then perhaps if it did become acceptable and normal...Would it be so appealing? also as lucrative? Hmmm? |
