I did get to the gate late when i was going to Oz, was there 3 hours before and went to the pub with me mate.
Was then on the phone for ages and just didnt hear them calling my flight....then ran totally wrong direction to my gate number.
Only just made it in the nick of time, and would have been gutted if i had missed my flight.
Would i have kicked off - no - cos it was my own stupid damn fault. |

"n Ron was nearly refused because he broke his wrist the night before we were due to fly and they would'nt let him on incase his arm swelled....he had an open cast incase it did but they said he needed a doctors letter to fly so he took it off himself to get on the plane
There was no way he was missing his holiday "
So it was the cast they were offended by not the broken wrist..????
Stupid rules they have some of em - and there is lots of piss taking going on about RyanAir by all the comedians at the mo isnt there, hehe |

i once a while back booked a last minute holiday over the internet, ( booked friday fly saturday) was told in the following e-mail the details of
flight,no time of departure
expected time for arrival at airport to clear check in and what ever,
arrival at destination,
return flight and number
the tickets would be ready at the check in at such and such a companies desk,
fortunately i'd printed this e-mail for refference once at the airport as instructed,on arrive well with in the time scale indicated in said e-mail we were imformed politely" sorry sir you should have checked in 1 hour and 45 mins ago" after the initial shock i got out the copy of the e-mail and cchecked to make sure it wasn't my fault, and there it was in black and white, i was in fact according to the e-mail 2.45 hours ahead of said time.
ok they checked e-mail made a half adozen phone calls, appologised that a mistake had been made in the original e-mail and a further one had been sent 1 hour ago, i said well i'd have still been late even had i got it lol as it took 135 mins to get to airport, anyway after much toing-n-frooing on phones we eneded up on the next flight out with an up grade to alinclusive and an extra week to boot, thanks thomas cook |

I suppose i can understand that - but whats the worst thats going to happen. Its going to swell (hence open cast) and its going to hurt - pain killers.
I dunno - i know they have to cover their asses tho or else they are open to being sued. Fair cop really. |

Turned up two hours early for a return flight from Alicante, only to be told we were late, and the plane had just finished boarding. Turns out they'd changed the depature times during our holiday, but the holiday firm hadn't bothered to tell us.
Ironically, we managed to nick the last three seats on a Brittania flight, and actually took off before the flight we where supposed to be on.
We where the lucky ones. There 23 people who missed that flight. |
