Just wondering...
I love a good laugh, but a lot of films labelled "comedies" these days just aren't funny.
Realise this is very subjective, but would be interested to hear what tickles your funny bone |

The most I’ve laughed at a film on first viewing was Grown Ups 2. I was in fits, don’t even know why but I think the childish, slapstick comedic elements really drew me in |

"Step brothers always very funny.
Mike and Dave need a wedding date
40 year old virgin"
Step Brothers is brilliant.
I really laughed a lot at Spy - the one with Melissa McCartney. Statham sends himself up brilliantly.
Also Magruber. Criminally underrated comedy. Cracked me up. |

Statham is incredibly in Spy. I would love to see a solo outing |

Crikey my favourites are already out there.
Snatch
Elf
Airplane
Life of Brian
So I’ll throw in Monty Pythons The Holy Grail if you don’t watch the last ten minutes.
Also nearly all the Laurel and Hardy films but the one when they are building the house is superb. |

Love all of the Monty Python films. Bonkers but funny, genuine laugh out loud sketches.
The early American Pie films were great in their day and The Hangover was hilarious the first time round! |

Naked Gun I had to leave the Cinema, it was just too much for me. Airplane by the same team as well.
Dumb and Dumber, especially on the motorbike when he wants a wee.
Life of Brian
And the end of Ghost, admittedly it was only me and my idea of vocal criticism, that almost got me chucked out of the Cinema |

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact |
"The brothers grimsby with sacha baron Cohen. Hilarious. " Borat at the cinema was amazing with so many laughing together. The egg scene and the naked fat man were memorable scenes. Not sure if it stands the test of time as never watched it since.

Any comedy with Simon Pegg, I watched ‘Wine country’ last week, there are some really funny bits in that, and I’m ashamed to admit, I laughed a lot at ‘What happened in Vegas’ |

"Dumb & Dumber
Dumb & Dumber2 At the time I thought I was gonna be sick I laughed so much. Watched it several years ago and didn't laugh once "
I'm with you there, saw dumb and dumber on a plane. I was crying with laughter so much I was nearly sick and the guy next to me was wondering what on earth was wrong with me.
Watched it a while after and wondered why on earth I'd found it so hilarious.
The fockers franchise films are great though, love Robert de Niro doing comedy. |

There and to the left a bit |
Two trips to the cinema (back in the days when you used to get double bills showing two films) stick in my mind as being times when I laughed for probably 3-4 hours straight both times...
Monty Python & The Holy Grail/Blazing Saddles
Life Of Brian/Airplane
I think you'd be hard pushed to beat either combination for laughter |
