It sure is, even the people who begrudgingly say well done can't take that away from them.

It's the one title I've been waiting to see them win. Sure, we won Division One, but I wanted the Premier League! Klopp will be in every discussion for best Liverpool manager now along with the greats. Congratulations! |

When Kompany retired Pep decided to go with Stones ( injury prone ) Laporte ( got a long term injury early in the season ) Oatmendy ( average centre back at best ) as his 3 centre backs when really he needed 4 centre back at all times sticking a midfielder in at centre back for most of the season is asking for trouble.But like I said earlier Liverpool were the best team overall in the premiership and deserve to be champions. |

If we are going down that route I was born and brought up in Halifax, which is probably even more of a football backwater than Lincoln is !
I may no nothing about football, and really don't want to, but it is still worthy of applause wherever you are from.
(and nor do I understand the hatred that fans of some clubs have for fans of another and I don't want to understand that either). |

Correct. A grandparent of mine (not a close one I might add) had it played at his funeral. I was fuming.
Let's just say it as it is... Mancs (or Salfordians in my case) don't like Liverpool and vice versa. I can't recall them queueing up to congratulate us over the past 30 years so I certainly won't be jumping on the bandwagon to laud their long overdue title win.
I also hate Yorkshire winning in Cricket or Warrington winning anything in Rugby League.
And I couldn't give a flying feck if that makes me selfish/bitter/childish etc.... I'm owning it. |

Great season and it's not over yet. Still records to be broken. I have followed Liverpool all my life and like Phil Thompson and Souness said in their era you got used to them winning it year after year. Pity couldn't celebrate properly but that time will come. |

They’ve won it with an asterisk next to it so it’s not a real win of the league anyway, it won’t actually count till they win it under normal circumstances |

I think it's hilarious how people are moaning about Liverpool fans already this morning. Listening to songs about the gerrard slip fpr years ffs... banter about not winning the league in 30 years.. but the first morning.. people can't take stick back in their direction. It'll be a lot longer than the summer the piss taking eill be going on plus Klopp isn't going anywhere anytime soon with a team primed for more. Buckle up !! |
