Schools here are opening next week but I'm not sure and nor is my son so he's staying home..he can go back in September when all this madness will have hopefully abated |

Well thousands have worked throughout the virus and remained virus free. The risk to kids is lower. You can not wrap them up in cotton wool. The risk in Sept will remain the same |

With schools it’s more to do with the spread of the virus. Yes children may have a reduced risk with the virus. But a school environment is an incubator for illness’ in general. If schools are fully opened there is literally no way to social distance. If just one child is a carrier, it’s a safe bet that at the end of the day a portion of the school will be too. Until a vaccine is produced, expect schools to shut down on a weekly basis through localised lockdowns. |
