Thanks, I actually do a lot of calf raises for them, like a couple of thousand reps a day, depending on how far I have to walk.

Had got to a 70kg deadlift. Haven't trained properly in a year but can still lift the 40kg bag of coal.out of car and bring around to back of house. Can squat 50kg.

Start back to some light training this week

About 30 years ago I used to do safety tests on JCBs, which involved hanging weights from the digger arm up to a maximum 1.25tons. Two of the weights were big steel slabs, weighing 500kg and 400kg, with the remaining 350kg consisting of 25kg slabs with carry handles. Once I hooked the two large slabs to the chains, I would then pick up the smaller slabs, 3 in each hand (75kg per hand) to lay them on the big slabs.

I also used to load 200 litre barrels of oil, which weighs 200kg, into the back of a Transit van by myself.

Doubt I could do that now, though in a place I worked at 4 years ago, an agricultural engineers where I worked in the stores, I would often be carrying hydraulic rams about which weighed about 80kg each.

I can tow a prowler of total weight 100kg from my wheelchair, doing maybe 6-8 runs along the indoor gym track before my shoulders fall off
