My understanding is that were multiple casualties 3 fatal and 3 seriously injured but lots more "walking wounded"

It's terrible.

I have hardly had the TV on in 2 days. It's just so shocking and sad. I will never get used to such horror.

Yeah, should be armed though. When you've got a crazy running amok with a knife, a baton, some pepper spray & a dodgy tazer ain't gonna cut it!

Its TASER actually and it obviously did cut it on this occasion luckily. I wonder if the fickle press will now be praising police? Awful incident.

I wonder if certain groups will still be calling for the defunding of the police force?

I don't know what tabloid you got your figure of 20 from, but all over MSN it's 3 dead and 3 injured. No mention at all at "20 people".

Unless you have proof?

Why for any reason would you think this was a racist incident?

They didn't say it was. The point was that they hoped it didn't spark more racism, which very often occurs in response to such incidents.

Look at the news again there were a total of 20 people Treated by medics at the scene thankfully only 6 of those were serious or fatal.

The stepson of a friend of mine at work was friends with one of the victims.

I work less than 5 minutes walk away from Forbury Gardens which is a lovely place right in the centre of Reading.

Still seems a bit surreal that it happened in Reading.

It was a racist attack carried out against White people and you've managed to make the right wing element at fault?

Stop projecting.

I'd see it more as an act of hatred against western lifestyle? He probably would have stabbed anyone.

When we drop a paveway bomb on an Isis hold, is that a racist attack? No. About time we had reasoned debates about the racism without it always turning into accusatory claims.

Yes its an act of terrorism, but its probably fuelled by poor education, dysfunction, mental health and a host of other sad events. That's not me being pink and fluffy its a fact.
