That really makes you upset!
The crude horrible ones I can shrug off, the rude FAF ones don't get opened.
But when someone tells you you are vain, conceited and arrogant it kind of hurts.
But it shouldn't as I've never spoken to them.
But it's really clouded my otherwise lovely day.
Not a rant.
Just a share
Know I'm not the only one but just made me feel really meh today.

I fail to understand why a comment from a complete stranger on the internet would affect people so, especially if it's one and not a torrent of several all saying the same thing.
If you know it's not true Op then it should be water off a duck's back. If you care nothing for the person in question it should mean f#&@ all to you.

Maybe it affects you more if you are feeling a little low or less confident than usual, that's all I can think.

I‘ve been talked to like a cheap prostitute on here so many times, I shrug those ones off.
The ones that upset me are the guys who are obviously very bitter and inexperienced with women in real life, ur they know how to really make a nasty dig. The ones that call me ugly and tell me nobody will want me, they eat away at me cos I always have a little voice in my head telling me that’s the case anyway. I was also called a racist cum bucket along with other niceities, by a guy becaus I politely said he wasn’t my type (tall, tattooed). So, he got reported. |

Not really sure why someone would randomly do that, unless they were angry at being rejected (still not a reason).
I guess for some folk, they stoop to such acts to get a response.
Having spoken to you in person, you never struck me as any of those...far from it. And if you were, its quite possible it wouldn't have bothered you.

It can be hard to ignore sometimes.
I find I am more sensitive some days than others depending on my mood.
If someone I don't know or have never spoken to decides to insult me I normally just block and forget but on occasion it does upset me.
I don't understand what they get out of it especially when they insult and then block you so you can't even reply. |

He had sent two messages recently, admittedly I hadn't read, we had never had any dialogue but then I hadn't read any others from other people either, not sure why it hit a nerve. But I don't think I am any of those things he said. I think I'm more annoyed I let it annoy me to be honest.

I had a bit of a crap situation today.
Been chatting away with someone and been getting on great. Even agreed to a social meet once lock down allows.
Then with no warning or a cross word, she blocked me.
But that's the Fab life I guess. |

It's very rare that a message upsets me all though some do make me feel annoyed.
It's more forum posts where people go out of their way to belittle or dismis. |
