How shy are you

I'm very shy. I'm an introvert. I don't go out of my way to chat with people and I really struggle in social situations. I can hold a conversation, but until I get to know you I don't think I'm that fun or lively! If you're good at talking and keeping a conversation going that helps me to come out of my shell a little. |

I can chat with almost anyone in reality and I think I can hold a conversation.. But when it comes to sex or if I know a woman likes me I feel stupid and I can't interact. |

Depends on the situation.
I used to be quite shy, unless I'd have a few drinks, but my job now is to literally stand up in front of people and talk to them.
But I do struggle with small talk, but I'm ok with getting to know you conversation. It's weird.

I’m ok at talking to people but being on the scale I can’t go new places on my own and need a shield but come across very confident which is an act to get over my shyness which at 56 is a tad crapmatic!!
For example I was in hospital on lockdown in my room last month and when my Covid test came back negative the doc said I could go to the gym for a bit of a workout.
Got in the lift
Went up
Doors open and my bottle went so went back to my room.

Easier online but in real life I'm incredibly shy. I struggle meeting anyone new for the first time. Even new work colleagues I struggle with. Wish i was oozing confidence x |

As a kid I was also painfully shy, but I've gotten better by pushing myself into situations where I've got to be sociable, I've got to talk. My problem is lack of confidence - what if I say something that is wrong? What if I say something stupid? People will think I'm a right d*ck. When actually - who really gives a crap?! We're working on it, my man is a great confidence booster
Wine makes things easier doesn't it, barriers are lowered - although obviously that can't be drank at work!

I'm far from being shy. In my "day job" I am basically paid to talk to groups of people, and in my own time I'm involved in various aspects of the music industry, from stage management to being in a band.
I can also be painfully quiet, too. If I don't want to talk, I won't. |

I'm very shy and quiet myself. I sense my quietness can make others uncomfortable but I've just no idea what you say.
I've a lot of admiration for people who ooze confidence and can chat with anyone. |

I'm good at meeting people and chatting but when it comes to meeting guys off here I'm dreadful but not sure if it's me been shy or just no belief that a guy be interested in meeting me. |

I am pretty confident and very chatty, I do tend to social butterfly in a party situation as I like to spend equal amounts of time with my friends and they don't necessarily spend time with each other |

It depends on the situation.
I'm not shy around people I know well.
But large groups or polite chit chat makes me feel introverted.
Social interactions without alcohol for me mean that I let everyone else do the talking  |

Would consider myself as a quiet person maybe a bit shy
But 1 thing over the years fab has given me confidence. Not easy taking your clothes off in group situations |

Strange for me is this as I am normally very outgoing I deal with the public everyday at work but on here I know I am very shy don’t know why but on meets I am ok can’t work it out |

I am a weird mix.
I'm very shy.. But can pull on an 'invisible cloak' that makes me able to interact.. But I'm far better at 1:1... I just about have a meltdown when in three's.. Even if they are very close friends  |

Depends on the situation and who with.
If im comfortable with you then it goes out of the window and all is well.
Put me in a group and I struggle to join in then it sets the pattern and I'll appear shy and aloof.
Confidence is a bugger of a thing sometimes. |

Make up on, lingerie all matching, stocking seams straight and heels that I can barely walk in....
Find me like this and I dont give a fuck who sees what as the confidence barrel is brimming.

I'm not shy and will happily chat to random strangers.
Hubby is shy unless he is performing in some way. Put him in a costume or behind an instrument and you would never believe he is naturally shy. |

Group of people I don't know and I'll watch for a bit, see who's a dick and who seems alright, I'll still say hello and that shit regardless.

Up until my mind twenties I was very shy, i found it difficult to speak with anyone and if it was a woman is was attracted to you could forget it. I had to change that and learn quickly when I became self employed. I can still find it a challenge to meet and talk with new people at times but generally I’m ok |

I am not shy, but I am not very social
I would always take a night in over a night out
A pub or a bar or a club is not my natural habitat
A meal in the house with good friends is much more my bag |

How shy I am completely depends on the person I'm speaking to. I start off with my guard well and truly up but if the other person is very open, then I feel safe to do the same.
That could take 1 week or 1 year but people tend to like me when I do open up  |

I can talk to anyone, but as soon as it comes to someone I like, I just lose control of myself, then all a sudden I am in the BF zone, show them for some reason i am not interested it weird i hate it  |

If it's someone I've just I'm very shy but if that same person sticks their hand down my pants, the shyness magically goes away |

I get on my own nerves I am quiet shy and I over think things. I'd love to be braver and meet more people but get caught in my head and it stops me. All the stupid what if's come into play. Then when I have pulled on my big girl pants and met them i dont hear from them again and it knocks my confidence again. |

Once I feel conformable around someone though, the shyness soon drops off. |

Quite easy. I don't really care what people think of me which helps massively. Take me or leave me. I don't do fake friendships and bs like that.
Most choose the leave option and therefore I have no friends. |

I'm painfully shy and suffer massively with social anxiety.
But I have a damn good facade that comes from years of working in and running pubs, and singing.
Put me behind a bar or on a stage and in seconds the shyness and anxiety fades. |

Being behind a bar is just like being another person isn't it? Suddenly all the shyness disappears, I guess because there is that common purpose / link that avoids the introduction discomfort. |

Im definitely an introvert and previously i use to be very shy. However, due to my job and peers i can be extrovert in any situation. I find communication with people a process without thinking about it. |

I wouldn't say i'm shy, i'm pretty extroverted really, but as i get older i find i'm more picky about who i spend time on. For example with work i'm not one to do work socials as i'd rather get home or see my friends than spend time with the people i work with every day |
