Talk to people like they've got a cute puppy....

....so I've been out today with my girl and our 13 week old puppy (who happens to be exceptionally cute in a tiny, scruffy, fluffy kind of way). Pretty much everyone we passed stopped to talk and ask questions or at least smiled at us with genuine happiness. Maybe 40 or so ppl over the day and it was really pleasant....!
Usually we go completely unnoticed and nobody would even look up or acknowledge us let alone smile or make conversation....
So my fab friends, I'd like to suggest maybe have a think when you're passing someone normal looking (without a cute puppy) in the street or wherever you are and just flash them a quick smile or say hello and make their day a little brighter....
Hope you're all having a fab Saturday
Much love

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon |
Already do smile and greet strangers.... It's pretty normal living in this town.
Felt weird for the first few months after moving from London though.
But yay, Nippy! Good call |

I wish I could but I think it would be a little weird to approach them with the same energy I would if they had a puppy!! I'd definitely scare them a little.
I do like to smile at people though and occasionally say hello!
I remember taking my doggo for a walk as a puppy. A lab too, so everyone would go bananas and stop to talk. |

"We get the same with our pup , until he tries to either jump at them or try and chase their dogs !"
Some woman today wanted to touch mine! She was like "but it's ok I'm wearing gloves!". I was like "yeah that really protects my puppy and us...." "TWO METRES!!!!!!" |

I always smile at strangers if we make eye contact... Until I realise I'm wearing a mask and they can't see my mouth so it just looks like I'm staring at them |

I've got the cute grin down.
No being a bit more serious, people in my town often say hello when out walking etc. There's a really a nice community spirit and smiling is infectious I think. |

"You told us to say hello on the street not on here
Did you try it on the streets? "
I will try it tomorrow. If I do it now people might get the wrong idea. |

I don't think I've ever seen your cute grin.... I can live in hope!
In that respect I wish I lived further north, ppl are so internal down here and I think we invented self isolation before the damn virus.... |

Dogs are unbelievable for going on the pull (obviously not at a nightclub or anything like that).
I was walking the dog round the local park one day and passed a group of women doing one of these fitness sessions they do there. When they saw us coming they started going "Isn't he lovely!" and "He's so adorable!" etc., obviously referring to the dog. I just grinned at them and pretending they meant me I said "Thank you. I do a good massage too," and gave them a flirty look. I got a good laugh from that.
Dogs are a good ice-breaker. |

I'd heard about dogs being fanny magnets but my little April has had more success in a few weeks than this old bugger has in over 40 years.... |
