Studying was a privilege I wasn't capable of enjoying when I was at uni.... There's some dead interesting shit to learn about....

My dad and my uncle did degrees with the open university in their 40s and now both own successful businesses. It definitely worked out for them.

La la land

Pm me if you want, I work in a uni. It may work really well for mature students this year as a lot of school leavers see deferring a year. And they tend to annoy the mature students. Additionally, our teaching will be done remotely for the first semester so may be easier with work commitments

I graduated from the Open university with a BA(hons) 2 yrs ago when I was 53..

I enjoyed it so much I'm now part way through studying for a Masters degree, again with the OU..

Best experience ever

I went at 29. Was a little weird considering I was the only mature mature student. My friends there called me dad. But was definitely worth it in my case. I say go for it.

I wish I’d chosen my A-Levels better so I could have done my degree at the first opportunity.

I did both my Masters as a mature student while working.

It's not easy with the workload at times.

Would I do anymore, no.

Not because I didn't enjoy it just because I cant be arsed

I'm still a student and love it. Greatest life insight, a little wisdom, occasionally mature and I'm not desperate for sex but can enjoy what I want. I'm not rushing for anything, desperate to try out work or to prove myself, I'm fully able to completely enjoy my time. I'm unsure if I'll ever stop.

I'd probably let my hair down and party more second time around....

I went at 33. Had 3 kids and it was tough but doable. I also worked a few nights behind the bar.

I think I’d enjoy uni more the second time around, but I can think of nothing worse than having to study again
