Hi all,

I have come across many profile which are verified by other users but why are they always hidden? I have spotted a few without any pictures... fake??

Oh well now that you have read this far, i am looking to get verified via cam / video social so please comment below / wink / pm me

I guess there's loads of reasons not to show verifications. For me, I don't like them on my profile but the flip side is I like to see them on other people's.. It's just down to personal preference I guess!

We have ours hidden now cos at one point someone was messaging our veris and asking questions about us.

Verifications can be given and received as both a private or public thank you. It's up to the individual on whether they want to display them. Some ppl don't verify every meet or indeed any meet. Use your judgement wrt who's fake but it's probably less than you think.....

Sometimes I feel like they are an end of term school report so I tend not to show them.

We hid our verifications because we can. We hide pictures because we can. Doesn't make us fake if we do

Some people prefer to keep things a little more private. For me, the green tick is there and shows I’m verified, but it’s no one else’s business what happened on a meet.

Some are more open and that’s their prerogative (and I do enjoy reading others!).

Someone I met got abuse because he showed my verification and I’m not well liked, and I’m quite fond of him so I hid it. Some people I’ve met have left the site as well

This for me too. Plus it’s a bit Difficult in a way for me as I have quite a lot some have Inboxed and labelled me as ‘showing off’ for printing them but I also think that I do so as I like to demonstrate just how many are social interactions (a lot!)

I have to say if I see a profile that has no avatar, no public pictures and same one or 2 veris, then if you click on them say profile hidden then I stay aWay.

No of course it doesn't but I can understand why people would be suspicious.
