RIP Vera Lynn She sang the song We’ll Meet Again which will have greater importance to those who were around during the 2nd World War than perhaps us that came after.The line We’ll Meet Again is off such importance that the Queen mentioned it when she addressed the nation a couple of months ago.RIP Vera Lynn

Bless her. My dad and late mum met her and had a cuppa with her. Dad used to run a RAF museum, she was visiting the area and asked to visit. She went all over the world entertaining the servicemen. Amazing lady

Yes and she done far more than that. She was in Egypt,India and Burma during the second world war, entertaining the troops.
