Just admiring some of the profile photos. While the clarity of professional photos and the obviously staged pose allows for an undeniably appealing image, I am more drawn to and turned on by earthy real pics where a person is showing themselves in a selfie, or a partner is admiring them through a lens. I think the same of homemade porn where the sex is authentic. In some way, I don’t think Fab should be for the professional pics.
Are you real or professional? And why? |

Professional photos are real OP
I think people are quite welcome to add photos that they are happy with. I don't have an interest in posing for some to take photos of me as I couldn't afford to pay for the damage to their cameras. Others quite like a photo shoot and good for them |

My photos are all friends only now but they're all taken by me with the exception of one or two private ones which were taken by a photographer. But when they were public I'd routinely get messages asking who takes my photos as they "look professional" so I suppose you can't always tell. |

They're both good. I respect the time and effort it takes for someone to get professional pics done, and have been known to message someone just to compliment them on the quality of their photos. |

"Real. Because all I have is a selfie stick and my phone. Seems to work fine for this purpose "
This ??
I only have my phone. Not even a selfie stick so it’s a good job (not everyone’s opinion) that I have long arms |

"Amateur since both types are real.
The reason is we enjoy taking photos ourselves. Some professional shots are gorgeous though and if I had the chance I'd go for a professional shoot. "
L looks as though she loves the attention and truly deserving... seductively sassy! |

Mine are real, in the sense that I take them all myself with my phone in my bedroom. I do obviously pose though! And occasionally I'll add a soft filter or make them black and white to make the lighting look pretty/arty.
Definitely not professional though! |

My photos are all taken by me but I get lots of messages asking if some have been done professionally. I'm just good at taking a photograph and have amazing lighting which helps make a photo high quality.
I prefer real shots too. |

The main difference with a professional photographic shoot is lighting. Its all about lighting. Pros have the right lights and reflectors to ensure everything can be seen clearly and no shadows in the wrong places. Also Amateurs tend to film themselves rather than get someone else to do the filming and so the angles and type of shot taken are limited. |

I’m not professional, and my amateur pictures are all real. I’m quite pleased with them and if they please others then great. I guess a good picture is one that “speaks to you” no matter however it was produced |

I suppose my use of “real” is misunderstood. My reflection was that capturing the sexual energy, hedonistic intent and realism is better achieved without the airbrush, lighting and significant premeditation.

All of mine are self taken.
I think professional photos are beautiful tho and if I was brave enough I'd definitely go for a proper photo shoot (not one with some random on fab with a camera) |

I take great selfies, don't I? apart from that photoshoot picture taken in the studio it's just me and my Motorola. I hide loads of them now as I get too much of bad attention unfortunately.
Thanks for your fabs |

I just have fun whilst doing them, all taken by me (with one exception on my public pics) with a phone and timer.
I appreciate a lot of photos and love seeing how people’s minds work when it comes to a photo challenge |

If the photo is good, I don't care wether its amateur or professional. And, eh... I'm a professional photographer. I am curious if people really understand the differences, and what professional means to them?
Amateur means it's done for the love of doing it. Professional means it's done for reward and, more importantly, to somebody elses requirement.

I like both to be honest, if you look at pics like londoncpl2play they are still gorgeous, sensual pics but also with a real professional clarity to them! Amateur are awesome too, but some do go a little too heavy with editing apps, just in my opinion. Some beautiful examples on profiles above though! |

I think in this instance they mean the equipment used. I have a dslr and basic lighting, but all my pictures on here are taken with my phone. |

All our pics are 'real' & taken with a phone camera.
Never had professional pictures taken, unless you count the ones taken in school as a child. Do quite fancy doing a boudoir type shoot at some point, not particularly for the pictures, more just the experience of doing it.
I appreciate well taken photographs, ones that show a bit of creativity and style & which tease the viewer. Those are the type of picture I will fab. Really not keen on overly graphic pictures or close ups of genitals. Like something that sparks the imagination.

For online photos, such as for use on here, a decent recent smartphone is all the camera you need. Photography means “painting with light” and the key element is list there. Lighting... and knowing how to control and shape it... is the differentiation!
I liked your photos. I especially liked the subject! |

It's an artificial distinction as many people are now producing incredibly high level shots. I'm interested in the person and how easily I can perceive them to be, based on their pics. If I can, I'm happy.
It's great to see the diversity of pics here, we get a lot of talent demonstrated. |

I have a mix of both on my profile. Most are taken with a selfie stick, though I've just bought a tripod so will be trying that out at some point, some were from a photoshoot I had done and a few, including my profile pic, were taken by a guy off here x |

I have taken all of my own. Do play about with filters and art package a bit. But definitely all amateur stuff.
End of the day a good pic is a good pic though regardless of who takes it |

I prefer "real" amateur everyday shots to edited ones taken in a professional shoot in an artificial environment.
That's said, there is really no excuse for blurry, dark, out of focus, wonky, crap pictures either. Any modern phone with decent lighting and a competent user can deliver a good quality image. |
