I’ve started singing lessons and am told I have 3 octaves!! I am loving learning the skill and techniques behind it all. I can’t wait to do something publicly!! Was going to hit a karaoke bar for my birthday but missed that now.
I can do reiki too, and when I did it for a friend, I got such a bad feeling in her lungs and made her go to the doctor...turned out she had TB and I might have saved her from pretty major lung damage. |

"I am miraculously able to not receive messages on here. It’s a talent that many on here also have so it isn’t unique I’m afraid. ??"
Can that be counted as a talent? X |

I’m pretty awesome at baking, or so I’ve been led to believe.
I’m also incredibly talented at getting away with things. I seem to be able to hit that perfect combination of apologetic tone and hang dog expression. It has come in handy many, many times. |

I have been playing the piano for 40 years and have picked up a few tricks.
Incidentally, I dislike the term gifted for abilities that take years of effort to acquire. These things are rarely handed to us on a plate. We should give ourselves and each other more credit for things we've earned the hard way. Receiving a gift is not the hard way. |

But this post asked if anyone had a gifted talent..it didn't ask if anyone had taken years to acquire their talent...

Higher level maths, advanced algebra, pure maths.
I've just never found it hard. Both my degrees had an element of this, both 2 hour exams I walked out after about 25-30 minutes on both as I'd finished, 90+% mark on both papers.
Not that I really apply it in what I do, certainly not the high level stuff any way. |
