So I randomly have these flowers growing in my garden that i didnt plant and despite my best googling efforts I cant find what they are .
The flowers are rose like and pink but they close completely at night and you can only see the buds , they've grown like mad in only a few weeks .
Any ideas ?? |

"I'm definitely not an expert. There's a couple of apps you can download, then take photo of plant in question and the app will identify for you.
There really is an app for everything lol "
I know, not sure if it's a good thing. Hate it when I ask a question in real life or online for people to then say "google it". |

I work for a well-known conservation group so..
The process of flowers closing at night is called nyctinasty. Difficult to identify yours by the description, but lots of plants are nyctinastic (Poppies, Hibiscus, Crocuses etc).
