"Well this morning I got out and done a 6.5Km in 41.47 which was bit bit slower than I would have liked my 5th and 6th km were a lot slower than I was aiming for
Still not bad anyway " ,

"I’ve Just started To run any tips ?"
Start by walking, then jog, then walk again. Just take it slowly, start by building up your base mileage, gradually increase your weekly mileage, by no more than 10% a week. You can introduce intervals, tempo runs later on when you build up your aerobic base. Most important thing is to enjoy it. If you don’t like running on the roads, which I don’t, find local trails and off road runs. These runs are better for Strengthening other muscles you don’t use like your ankle muscles. |

I’ve just got Asics running shorts and t shirt. I’ve got Asics road shoes and Solomon trail shoes. I recommend a flip belt for keeping your phone in and keys, most comfortable thing for carrying stuff. |

I managed to do a 29.11 this morning for a 5km in the rain. It was on a flat and I had an under tshirt layer
Running on pavements in the rain is asking for a slip or a twist so I probably didn’t go as quick as I liked
Still a decent time would have liked a sub29 |
