They are hit and miss
There are some younger guys and some guys 40+
If it is your first visit, I would go somewhere like The Greenhouse in Darlaston which has some leisure facilities as well as public and private play areas.
They also don't ask for personal information when you join, you just pay ur money and in you go - it was £14 last time I went.
A lot of clubs ask for personal details when you join. Many guys just give false details.
Expect to get some unwanted attention.
A brush away of their hand is usually enough to deter them if you aren't interested although you may need to tell the odd persistant guy to 'fuck off'
They tend not to be as social as swingers clubs and a lot of communication is based on eye contact and intimation.
Weekends tend to busier than weekdays. A bit too busy some times.
Condoms and lube are generally provided free of charge - make sure you use them for anything more than oral. |

I don't fancy men just like playing with them and having fun its just one of my fantasys. Like most gay men say don't knock it till you try it! I was just wondering would I feel safe and welcomed in there? |

Ideally you'd go in with a friend/acquaintance. I didn't and the nerves do settle both during first visit and future ones naturally. You will no doubt get the butterflies, the top floor is relaxing, there's also an outside smoking terrace to chill whether you smoke or not. The cabins and corridors are obviously cruisy you may get followed around, the key is your confidence in batting away any unwanted attention. The glory hole cabins are fun but the pool, sauna, steam area are also places that are in between active and a place to feel at ease. They're near to the lounge where you can get some nibbles/drinks etc. (Greenhouse) |

The first time I went in a sauna, I got my towel on, walked in the sauna cabin, saw two men having sex, froze like a rabbit in the headlights, walked out of the cabin, got dressed and left the place - in and out in 5 minutes (story of my life lol)
The second time, I went with a platonic gay friend who showed me round and then left to my own devices.
Strange, but I did feel easier knowing he was there (somewhere) |
