Bought some electronic item off Facebook Market place . Turned out to be copies /fake product.

Confirmed the buyer, he doesnt want to refund them. I said ,i opened them hence found out to be copies. He said ,he can't accept opened box.

I threatened him to report to action Fraud but be doesn't want to budge.

Finally I did reported this evening .

What else I could have done?

Never happened this before.

Which payment method did you use? You may have some cover that way.

Ashbourne(ish) and Chesterfield(ish)

Chargeback on your credit card or Paypal account. You should have no problem getting your money back and get in touch with trading standards.

Sorry guys , it was cash. But I got all the screenshots of online chat ,which he admitted that they were copies .

I sent them via email to the fraud team.

Reported to West Midlands Police via email. It's not huge amount but the audacity of the seller of not refunding for the items which doesn't match the description.

You have done all you can for now and as long as you have all the paperwork and screen shots then the fool doesn't have a leg to stand on. Hope you get sorted soon as some people just have no morals or conscious unfortunately.

Thanks mate.

I told the guy that , give me the refund and we go out ways or have to take action . It's a serious breach of trading standards policy.

London

If you have his address, you could make a claim in the small claims court! Is online, but does cost?
