Yes, our business uses them as they help to sell stuff. It’s just Marketing that’s all, you have a million + followers, tell them you’re using something and you think it’s really good, business gets sales.

It is similar to sex toy reviewers (like us), companies send us products and we review them online and generate sales leads through honest and frank reviews. |

“Influence” is probably the wrong word to use.
But dependent on what they post thaw influence people on what to buy.
It is a job, self employed and they pay taxes. My friend is a Youtuber & Instagram influencer, she really enjoys it. |

I agree, I hate the word influencer as that reeks of coersion. I am glad your friend has found something she enjoys doing and you are right, it can be a career. It is for us. |

It just means someone who works in advertisement, basically.
It can be really lucrative. Some people make a lot of money for it, as well as lots of freebies. |

As an old git when I heard some yoof say they wanted to be a 'tuber' I was most confused..
Then when I looked into it why wouldn't they..
