"No, they have been found on early humans thought to indicate which tribe they belonged to or possibly job types in later times.
So no, not hardcore. "
Cavemen are kind of hardcore though, so by association.. |

Also, what's more hardcore than having "I'm the postman" tattoo's on your face? |

I don't think they're hardcore, for the most part (depends on the location and the content), but saying that early humans had them ergo not hardcore is a bad argument; early humans did many things that we'd consider hardcore now. |

If someone doesn't like them then i suppose they might be
..what do you think? " I like the experience and mindfulness they bring... tattooist is hot as well |

It depends...
standard tattoo on the arm - no
Tattooed eyeballs or removing your fingernails to get them tattooed - yes
There is a project called the brutal black tattoo project, numerous tattoo artist tattoo volunteers for free completely black.. Catch is its fucking brutal, people are put in extreme pain and its basically abuse or torture. It's on a popular streaming service BUT sensitive souls should not watch!!! |

Not Neanderthals (cavemen, different species though we interbred hence white skin, short stocky bodies etc) well none found yet, tattoos found on homosapiens mummies aka us. |

When my sister started in her career in psychology (mid 80s) the thinking was that anti social people were the only ones into tattoos. Times have changed.
Tattoos are body art, or a form of expression or whatever.
Both of my kids have tattoos (in prominent places).
I'm just waiting to find my ideal drawings. I'll get them. Soon. |

Pointless things.
Like going to a fancy dress in a monkey costume.
Interesting for 5 min then nobody notices and you're stuck in it for the night(lifetime).

I am am a tattoo collector and have a lot of tattoos, including both hands or ‘jobstoppers’ as they’re called by tattooists. They’re not hardcore though!
I hate two things - people asking if they hurt (of course they fuckin do) and secondly, I hate people telling me they’re ‘really into tattoos’ and showing me a shitey tweetie pie they got done in Benidorm in 1997. |

I kept telling both of my daughters to wait until they could afford good tattoos before going off and getting them done. Well of course they ignored me and both have a rag tag of shit tats each completed in a single short sitting.
In my early 20's I lived in a flat in Bedford for a short time and a biker lived in the room next door to me. He used to park his chopper in the hallway as he didn't want it getting knicked. Of course we loved the aroma of petrol and oil but nobody dared argue with him. He had the most intricate of tattoos I've ever seen even by today's standards, the level of detail was remarkable and he enjoyed people asking him about them and how long they had taken.
Anyway the point of this is that you can't have a good tattoo of any size in one sitting, they take hours and hours. I'm afraid shit tats aren't body art.....they are just shit tats! |

I think there are so many people with tats out there now that I don't think it's hard core. I wonder if going people to feel pressure to get them. I wonder if the young people with none will be seen as rebels..
There is some wonderful body art but some not so good. Choose wisely.. |

I disagree with some of this. My Rose was done in a single sitting and it is beautiful. That's not a word I use about any part of me. I love my Rose though |
