We have lots of trees where we live and a waterfall. So bring a sleeping bag, we will light a fire and stay up all night chatting and laughing and whatever else takes our fancy.
The next day we can have sausages cooked on the fire then go off and build dens, climb trees and play games with nerf guns. Doesn't that sound fun. |

Awe that’s a nice idea PB
My forest would have a cathedral of Oaks where the sun streams through, an old fallen tree providing a seat In a place of contemplation and welcome sign for anyone walking by
No BBQs and No litter thank you! Take it home with you |

Haha..I don t own it but I am giving complete control of how it is managed..it was my home for two years with no 4 walls..gorgeous . I work it with natures needs, I don t inflict human opinion upon it. You can expected beauty, wild creatures and there are my ropes and tree platform to enjoy..oh and my aerial silks. |

"When does a wood become a Forrest?
Go on..?
lol, I think you, OP should be answering this one!
I’m stumped "
Ha. So are the forests.
I grew up on a small "farm" (not in Finland) of 50 acres. Half + were woodlands. Not a forest by any stretch. What would I do with it now? Build a shed that blends into the woods and sit outside, breathing the air.
As a kid, we climbed through the ravines and looked out over the river and didn't realize that most people don't have that option.
When my dad dies, it'll be mine again, but til then....I just go there and enjoy while I can. |

Sounds like heaven!
I just love trees, they have such a calming presence, I always seek them out. |

I've heard, lately, that we should hug a tree when the urge to meet up with someone gets too strong! Need to find that article. Hugging trees is good though. I had a Native American friend (Ojibwe) who hugged every tree she could, when we went on walks.
I do understand it. |

I have about 120 acres of mainly foothill slope forest here at the Paw. My house used to be a hunting lodge, but has not been for 3 years. The animals are starting to come back and that is how it will stay |
