Have you ever arranged a social which was something different to having a coffee and cake together or flirting over a glass of wine?

Went mountain climbing? Cheese tasting? Dancing on the streets?

Or are these reserved more for typical dating?

" Oh man, my socials have been so boring, I need to up my game! I've either met for coffee, or at an actual fab social

Who wants to take me on an very interesting social

How about a cocktail making evening?

I do like the sound of that, although I am a massive lightweight

Had planned a social to the Edinburgh Xmas market. I travelled 35miles to discover it was shut due to horrendous stormy weather. Still had a great social but not what we planned.

Flippin heck!! This thread is literally for me and what I am about, but so many know about my past Fab adventures so won't list them again.

For the record and to reconfirm:

I have never drank coffee and never done a "cafe" social... everything I do has a Fab fun twist depending on the person I meet and what our shared interests are. Every thing I do in person with another person has special thought gone into it with surprises...

Nice to read some of the posts in here with a shared social twist mindset. Like it! I have so many more ideas for future.

Things to do, see and explore.

See that for me would be fun! I like ideas like that. Another poster said paintballing... I would. Go Karting, Quad Biking... the list is endless. I do exactly the same on and off Fab no difference with meeting people so those that want to pack their bags and go on an adventure...

The possibilities are endless.

I used to think what I do was the norm on here, but I was the odd one out... still am in a few ways... and was the reason why people used to tell me I am on the wrong site...

This is only meant to be for sex

When I used to share these type of ideas people used to say are you mad!? Shurrup and book a hotel or let's go clubbing/party etc mindsets soon changed... well I say soon some hard nuts took months and they finally felt sorry for me and said fine! Let's do it...

Haha I wish! Omg I am chomping at the bit, but social distancing means ideas have to be put on hold! Damn it. Soon my friends. And we will unleash the wild side...

I meant mix and mingle

Here are a few examples for those that don't know yet on what I been upto:

Dinner at the Shard

Choccywoccydoodah - come on now, for those that know me... you know that was going to be standard.

Castles

Museums

Safari Park - That one took me around if I rem_mber correctly 3 or 4 attempts because needed whole day. Was not easy to find someone to trust me on that one, but she loved it and thanked me for not giving up... *ahem*

Scottish Highlands! What an adventure that was. We touched the clouds... the clouds people! I could have orgasmed right there, but it was cold and I didn't want to freeze my butt off.

This is why I keep banging on about Fab is such a place dreams can become reality... and if you dare to dream... dream "Big" no mountain is high enough and no hill is steep enough for Fab! Absolutely love it.

Can anyone tell a trip down happy memory lane gets me excited... just a tad

Pandemic can't take our memories from us!

I've been to Highgate Cemetery, a zoo, done a bookshop tour of London's quirky, independent bookshops and went to the Arcade Club which was so cool and allowed me to see he was as competitive and dorky as me which was lovely. I like socials that are a bit different from the norm, where I can find out more about someone and see their passion in action if that makes sense.

My goodness that unexpected thrill seeking 'race' was not pre planned and a continuation from a lovely group social, which ended in a heart pumping ride. Slippery when wet though! Ah the good old 'group social days' from last year and all previous years with many sociable Fabbers.

Distant happy memories x

For those getting withdrawal symptoms from well organised group social gatherings/events like myself... as things stand we may not go back to those days for a while and looks like a new 'normal' is emerging...

I feel for the clubs! Hopefully many will survive and continue to thrive. #2021

My four best alternatives to the usual coffee and chat were the cinema ( yes we did mostly watch the film!), a gig (good fun), a game of Scrabble and an art gallery exhibition we both wanted to see.

Dubai & Nottingham

Have been for a few nice meals and went shopping once. Have also had some nice meets in India and Dubai at very nice locations, including a pub crawl and rooftop sunset dates but nothing like adventure sport!

shits creek

bowling.

Nothing like a little healthy competition to see how bad a loser someone is, but at the same time I don't want someone letting me win coz "I'm a girl" and they want to get in my knickers.

Let's bowl beeeyatch and if there are awkward silences and very little laughter then that's all I need to know.

In a town Fab forgot

Nice moonlit walk along the Thames, taking in the sights and sounds.

Standing on a bridge watching the water flow underneath.

Feeding beggars, dancing to buskers, ending the evening in a lovely Italian restaurant, talking about feng shui.

Sounds heavenly......

There and to the left a bit

Most of my meets involve doing something socially that is more than just coffee and cake, whether they be social only or otherwise...

...I've been for walks, bowling, an outdoor music festival, to a beach in the middle of a city square, watching football and a few other things.

I like the idea of spending time doing something fun together before doing something fun

A fabulous end to a lovely thread by Rose

This was one of the best ideas in a long time and certainly provided inspiration to many Fabbers including those that I been engaging with and green arrow followers.

Socialising will be on another level now for those that never knew it could happen on Fab...

Anything is possible
