All day i have had two lines from a song in my head and i cannot name the song. It is immensely frustrating and I will kick myself for sure when I find out but I just have a mental block and cant put my finger on it.
It goes -

Every time i try to get it i keep breaking into 'Hey lover' by LL Cool J and its driving me crackers. |

It is either a RnB, rap or hip hop, possibly a sample or re use from soul. |

Maybe. I dont listen to disco but obviously I have heard it and there is a lot of samples taken from it. I can hear the lines perfectly in my head and its definately in an RnB style but there is so much crossover and sampling its hard to be certain of the genre of the actual song.
It is also possible it could be from a freestyle off a mixtape or similar. |
