Without causing offence, younger women don't know what they want from a partner of any kind. High expectations I guess? Older woman seem to be more settled & content & know what they want but equally take no shit & I like that.

You dont get shitty small talk with mature women.
Mature women wear less makeup, so you actually get to see what you're shagging, and not what you think you're shagging.
Mature women seem to look after their houses better. Always seem to be tidy, smell good, nicely decorated, decent garden.

Perhaps, generally (not always) it's for the same reason that i'm drawn towards younger guys on fab?
When i'm looking for a 'real' relationship then i'm drawn to the 40+ age bracket - but when looking for a no strings, non exclusive friendship then a younger guy is ideal as, in my experience, it stops the lines from blurring. I've no wish to meet their mum or for them to meet my kids!
I find it much easier to keep it simple.
A lot of single people on fab join after a long term relationship breakup - and they want to avoid walking into a new one without either getting hurt or hurting anyone. Age gap friendships can be the perfect solution.  |

I've always liked older women and found them to be sexier. I think it's partly because they aren't as neurotic for some reason. (I'm dead!)
They don't get shitty if I don't message them straight away and they don't get stupid if I don't pay compliments, etc. I can just be myself and have a laugh without stepping on eggshells.
Regarding body; a well kept 45 year old body is the same as a well kept 20 year old body to me. It's all about the mind for me. |

Personally i prefer them as they are usually more confident in themselves, and have more experience.
More experienced = Better skilled.

Age isn't something I bother about, it someone I can have a connection with.

Exactly this! You never feel an expectation other than a very fun friendship!
I am learning with age comes more than experience. There comes some more maturity and confidence and those two things are what makes a fantastic meet!
I find younger women tend to be more direct (Btw I was no different when younger) and don’t understand 75% of the fun is the chase, the seduction, small glances and suggestive comments.

My perspective is I dont feel the need to compete with any age group man I'd say my age and experience means i have nothing to prove but if had that mind set for 30 years
Iv found , many ladies of all ages are interesting and attractive

Personally I think threads overtly suggesting "mature women" as a bulk group simply a sycophantic appeal to the majority age group of fab
I feel it a tad offensive towards the equally sophisticated complex sexy and desirable not considered mature demographic of the fab forum

I definitely enjoy playing with a big age difference in either direction ... So at 44, a sexually confident 20 something, or a mid 50s plus young at heart lady both appeal a lot. Make of that what you will. I can't!

Why do so many people have the opinions, wants or desires?
Different people want different things, many guys look for younger ladies, many others find age irrelevant. The guys specifically looking for older ladies tend to be young guys anyway.

Some of the derogatory comments here are uncalled for, 'bants' or not. Don't understand why there has to be one versus the other as all it does is bring the comments I'm talking about.... I like a person due to a combination of looks, personality and chemistry with age only a part of it. Personally if someone contacts me with 'I love older women' the conversation goes no further.
I've got age limits but not because I'm 'into' younger men per say, the reason goes way deeper. |

At my age younger women are not interested and also I'm not interested. Mature people have more life experience, have more confidence and are not shy about asking for what they want. I've had the most fun and adventure sexually in the last ten years or so as the women I have been involved with are not shy and on some levels kinkier than the younger women I used to be involved with. I think too it also easier to connect better on a lot of levels with playmates closer to your own age. |

It happens a lot on here.
There’s a lot of generalisations when it comes to younger men made on here too, but I totally respect people’s likes and dislikes regardless.
People are entitled to their preferences, but it’s amusing to get a message from some who’ve previously said they have X preference... I think many have preferences but they’re not strict with it.
Lots on here have age preferences for example and many of those will have 18-99 as their age filter!
