Pulp Fiction....when Zed and his mate took Marcellus into a back room for a 'very special cuddle', culminating in Zed getting shot in the bollocks.

They’re is a scene in they live where the two main characters who are best friends fight for literally about 10minutes of the film. Think it’s the longest fight scene in movie history. What’s funny is the fight starts simply because one of them wants his mates to look at these special glasses he’s got and his mate refuses |

Life of Brian,,,,,the soldiers are chasing Brian,who runs to the top of a tower under construction. As he falls,seemingly to his death,he is picked up by a spaceship piloted by green guys who hold their eyeballs in their hands. These aliens have troubles of their own being pursued across the galaxy by another ship firing lasers at them.
They are eventually shot down and crash in almost the same spot as where they caught Brian.Brian stumbles from the wreckage,the only survivor. As he dusts himself off a bystander says "you lucky bastard".

Curb stomp in American History X. Maybe not memorable but something that sticks out in my memory of films.
A very real and powerful movie with an important message maybe even more so at the moment. |

2001.A Space Odyssey.
Tha dawn of mankind. The alien monolith sends a sublime signal to one ape,igniting that first primitive spark of intelligence setting him and his species on a path to the discovery of weapons which in turn allows them to eat well, to evolve,,,,to eventually reach out beyond Earth and to become a higher form of pure intelligence.
The whole movie is open to many interpretations, that has always been mine but 'that' opening sequence, set to 'that's music, has to be among the most memorable scenes ever.

The cinematography in sicario is brilliant combined with the score.
The scene where the plane is flying and all you see is the shadow of the plane on the ground.
Fabulous.
