Recently, I have seen an increase in joint Facebook accounts (a couple using one Facebook account). I can't help but think this is because of trust issues? I mean it is hardly difficult to create a Facebook account these days. I find it really weird. Has anyone else noticed this? |

I don’t find it weird as I know couples who share a Facebook account as most, if not all, of their friends are mutual friends anyway and if they were to have separate accounts they would only share the same things ie pics but I guess maybe a lot share accounts if there are trust issues. |

Could also be that one partner is very good with social media and the other is a bit of a clown, so a joint account helps prevent mishaps. I myself am quite a bit challenged when it comes to posting so would happily welcome M’Lady running it for me. ![](/icons/s/cool.gif) |

I can't see a problem with it. As far as I'm concerned a profile for you as part of a couple is distinct from you as an individual and the two can run independently of each other. Plenty do that on here. Its like family email addresses, they don't preclude each family member having their own.
That said we don't have a joint Facebook account |
