All deliveries to the entire street have been suspended indefinitely. We’re both posties and are members of an RM forum. According to posts on there RM have appealed for residents to come forward to the police to provide information. Reading between the line of the posts, it seems that deliveries will not be reinstated until the culprit has been charged! |

It sounds like the kind of thing that would happen on my walk! A few months ago I was not permitted to deliver to a particular house for nearly 2 weeks, it was sealed off by police. One of the occupants who is in his late teens has since been charged with the murder of a younger teenager. Also, just a couple of weeks ago in the adjacent street a young man was shot in the face.......it’s a delightful neighbourhood! |

This isn't anything new. Happened years ago to a friend of mine who's a postie. Was shot in the head on his round culprits never caught and he was in quite a bad way for a while but thankfully not life threatening. They couldn't remove the pellet from his brain as its too dangerous to do so.

Hubby got bitten last week, first time after 10 years in the job. Me on the other hand, I had my first dog bite in the 3rd week! |

Hubby got bitten last week, first time after 10 years in the job. Me on the other hand, I had my first dog bite in the 3rd week!"
