So my Granny is bored at home so she keeps making us food. She made us amazing macaroni cheese a few weeks ago, and when we sat in her garden at the weekend she asked if we wanted another.
She also asked if we liked corned beef, now I’m not a fan but for some reason I said ‘yeah!’
So anyway, she makes up macaroni cheese with a layer of corned beef.
I was so skeptical, but damn. It was amazingggggg
What’s your odd food combinations?
When I was pregnant I had loaaaads |

A tuna mayo sandwich with a spoon full of mint sauce.
Haggis crumbled into lasagne.. So long as the pasta is made from scratch with oregano and some chilli and garlic flakes in (hubbies signiture meal, five layers... I'll never be thin) |

Or can do it the lazy way and pop a chocolate button in your mouth with each bit of popcorn. I can’t eat popcorn now without chocolate. Thornton’s used to do chocolate coated popcorn but I haven’t seen it for ages. |

Sausage rolls dipped in salad cream.
There's a salad cream thread building here methinks. So why have sales fallen in recent years? Maybe it's a "fab thing" like ankle bracelets, if you buy it you're giving off swinger vibes in the supermarket |

I was served tinned peaches with tuna mayo in once. I thought this was mental. Later discovered it’s an actual recipe on the delmonte peaches website..... |

I had them when I was a kid, I also remember my mum giving me raw bacon rind to chew on, it's a wonder I didn't get worms |

"Mango chutney with cheese.
Absolutely love this , also mango chutney under the cheese then toasted.
Ooo I'll have to try that! "
You wont be disappointed.
The following is a public service announcement.....just be careful as chutney will be hot and may burn, I do not want to be held responsible for any injuries |

A couple of roll mops, a big chunk of extra mature cheddar and some nice crusty bread with loads of butter on it. Each on it's own is a very distinct flavour, have them together though and it's just heaven mmmmmmmmm |

macaroni cheese with a layer of corned beef...my initial thought is just no.
It's good that you tried it. I've probably missed out on tasty stuff in the past by not being adventurous enough.
This from someone who used to think cheese and apple was adventurous |
