I don't know for definite, but I can't see why you would. After all, you're not creating a new account, merely changing one aspect of an existing one.
If you're worried, you could always message all your friends afterwards to explain that it's still you but under a new user name

Let me guess, he probably created a new profile as changing a username does not mean you are no longer on someone’s block list. Unfortunately it’s not uncommon on Fab so just keep blocking! |
