You need to look at the IPAs and APAs ( American Pale ales ) Try Lagunitas or Brewdog ( Punk ) Innis and Gunn. We drink the stronger ones like Elvis Juice. The homebrews are good if you want to try brewing . It really isn't hard . Bad Cat and Evil Dog are Amazing American kits that will spank you.You need to be very patient though and brew them longer than they recommend for best results. xx

I signed up to Beer 52 initially to get some exposure to different breweries and taste some of the beers I wouldn’t normally pick out on the aisle.

Asda rarely update their stock so if you like breeding go there.

Tesco have quite a few beers in stock too.

I picked up some Jaipur today (old but so good) and Vocation life and death, which seems to be okay.

Mad Squirrel Sumo is one of my favs.

Innes & gunn are getting to where I like to drink, I prefer the dark Belgium beers. I find the real ales, tend to have funny after tastes.

Ahhh cracking. Cheers for the heads up about some of these breweries.

I've had a couple sips of a Jaipur before. It was a corker!

Is there a multitude of crafty pubs knocking around in the lakes?

I’m no expert but I do love ale...and every pub has several, lots of locally brewed ones. Some beautiful pubs and beers to try...

Never found a bottle of beer that’s as good as a fresh pint overlooking the views!
