What’s the rainbow emoji mean?

I know on fab it is supposedly used as a sign for someone to say they want to chat or cam online when used on statuses, but just as a general post on the thread what does it mean?

I know people interpret things very differently on here, so I had to ask?

I like it because it's cute

I like it because it's a rainbow and for me it means happiness

I like it when someone is being rude and you can tell them to feck off and then end it on a happy note and hope they'll learn to not be such a dick

The Facility

On here, my understanding is that it's a solidarity thing with the NHS.

Off here it's a positive symbol of pride for the LGBTQQIP2SAA community.

I just like rainbows, they're pretty. I assumed fab introduced it as a symbol of solidarity with key workers /NHS staff, had I realised other users though it had some hidden meaning I'd possibly use it less. But I still like rainbows so

Yes it was added when the NHS had the rainbow used at the start of lockdown etc.

I think people use it now as a term of empathy, sympathy and love.

Obviously it can be used for LGBT as part of the Pride movement.

Also it adds a splash of colour to a message
